Recruiting Update
So far this season, despite breaking in a young quarterback, DeAnthony Arnett still has 26 receptions for 406 yards and four touchdowns through five games.
Already with offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Eastern Michigan and Tennessee, he says
Oklahoma, Oregon, Miami-FL, Cincinnati, Michigan and Michigan State have been recruting him the hardest.
Scouting Report
Arnett has great skills for the position. He is very smooth and quick and shows good shake off the line. He gets in and out of his breaks quickly and loses his man on double moves. He has good hands and ball skills, showing exceptional ability to find the ball in the air and adjust to it. He can go up and get the ball at its highest point and shows good leaping ability. After the catch, he has some elusiveness and solid straight line speed, but does not yet have the strength to break a lot of arm tackles. Adding that size and strength will be a key for him, although he has gotten bigger since last year.
