Kosak Makes Hard Decision

One of the more under the radar prospects in the 2013 class out of Ohio made his college decision on Monday after taking an official visit this past weekend.

Just like his play on the field, Airion Kosak likes to do things fast. Last week the Vandalia (Ohio) Butler two-way standout picked up his first two scholarship offers and quickly made his decision after taking an official visit this past weekend.

"I visited Eastern Michigan this weekend," said Kosak. "The visit was great and I really liked everybody on the coaching staff. In fact they were amazing and my mother really liked them when we got up there and we saw how they cared for their athletes."

With offers from both Eastern Michigan and Miami on the table, Kosak looked to make a decision on what the best fit for him would be.

"I really liked both schools," said Kosak. "However, my gut just told me to go with Miami. They are bringing me in on defense but when I visited the offensive coach said he liked what I did and would like to see me on offense. But my main reason for choosing Miami is the education."

Despite being under the radar Kosak said he never worried about his future.

"I felt I was under the radar and knew I could play at one of these colleges if given the chance," said Kosak. "But I wasn't too stressed about it as my main goal was to have my college paid for and to get an education. I had a Division Two school that also wanted me and I would have been happy going there as well if this didn't happen."
